This new collection grew from mapping imaginary landscapes with my home‑educated autistic teen art group, translating inner journeys into layered drawings and risograph prints. Using simple mark‑making and flowing lines, I aim to capture the grounding energy that arises when we inhabit our thoughts while moving through the outdoors and to illustrate the internal currents and feelings evoked both by meditative imagining and physical walking. By transferring these designs onto scarves, tea towels and even bird boxes, I intentionally shift the work from wall art to everyday, functional objects so the drawings can be worn, handled and lived with. I’ve also been exploring AI animation to invite viewers on a guided journey into these imagined places, extending the sense of flow and connection beyond the static image.
This collection will be on show at Wirksworth Arts Festival 12-13th September at Hopkinson’s House and at other art fairs in Autumn/Winter 2026.

In my current work I have begun exploring AI animation to bring imagined landscapes to life, using the technology strictly as a tool applied to my own original images so it never relies on or infringes others’ work. This playful extension of my scarf, tea towel and bird box designs invites viewers to experience the idea of a fictional terrain in motion, enriching the textures and narratives already present in the objects.
